If you create maps and reports in SimplyAnalytics and incorporate them in a website, book, or PowerPoint presentation, you will need to cite the information in APA stye. Here are some examples of how to do this:
SimplyAnalytics (2023). SimplyAnalytics Consumer Expenditure Estimates Data 2021. Retrieved November 7th, 2023, from SimplyAnalytics database.
SimplyAnalytics (2023). Claritas PRIZM Premier Data 2023. Retrieved November 7th, 2023, from SimplyAnalytics database.
SimplyAnalytics (2023). Map with 2021 SimplyAnalytics Consumer Expenditure Estimates Data. Retrieved November 7th, 2023, from SimplyAnalytics database.
- Note that the initial (2023) represents the year that you accessed the data. So, if accessing in 2024, you would instead write (2024) at the beginning.
- You need to mention the vendor that the dataset is presented by; the "Consumer Expenditure Estimates Data" dataset is from SimplyAnalytics - note that SimplyAnalytics uses many other vendors such as Nielsen, Claritas, MRI-Simmons, etc. Find the vendor that the data is presented by from the metadata.
If you are not sure of the name of the dataset, vendor, date of the variable you are using, etc. you can View Metadata by clicking on any data variable in a report.
